Skyping with Jon and Mark

Skyping with Jon Bowermaster and Mark Bauman  has opened our eyes to the possibility of filmmaking within the Ocean Exchange community and what they are looking for as far as short films. 

We pitched our ideas to both of them seeing what they thought and how we should proceed with our scripts. They had great advice for us and the writers. 

We learned a lot about them and the industry! We even got to hear a few stories from their filmmaking experience.

Cool Ideas

At one of the meetings we needed someone to come up with an idea on how to make a video work, Daniel went home and came back with a brilliant idea!

Ocean Exchange the Democracy

As a group we came up with 50 different pitches for each of the solutions. To break it down, five for each of our ten solutions. 

Today is voting day! 

Through the voting process we are trying to get them down to the top 25 before our Skype meeting with Jon and Mark will be hard but we can do it. 

Some ideas were a dead giveaway and everyone was on board.

Others were split 50/50 and required a second vote.

Some people pitched new ideas.
