"Mrs. Robinson"
As a group we discussed possible film ideas. We eventually agreed on one
entitled: “Mrs. Robinson.”
Mrs. Robinson (taking off of the film ‘The Graduate’), a woman who is
sexually charged by her pool boy, tosses trash in her pool for him to pick it
up and notice her. Instead of the pool boy getting aroused, he is disappointed
in Mrs. Robinson’s actions.
We looked at an array of pools in the Downtown Savannah, Georgia area.
The director wanted the right one with the right retro feel. We then found the
perfect one in the The Landings on Skiddaway Island (Thank you Angela!). Upon
shooting we found that we as a crew could try saving the planet as well by
using our own water bottles to drink our water from. The shooting day went
really well we started at 11 and stopped shooting at 3:30. We had the best cast
every, Rebecca Etheridge (Mrs. Robinson), Dennis Clark (the husband), and Madison Hamburg (The Pool Boy).
It was a hot day in the sun but also a fun day in the pool!
